The Generac 5616 Extreme Cold Weather Kit is a complete solution for preparing Generac standby generators for extreme cold. It includes the appropriate block heater, step by step installation instructions, and all necessary mounting hardware.
This kit is to be used in conjunction with the appropriate Cold Weather Kit, containing the necessary battery warmer assembly to enhance performance and reliability in freezing conditions. If not done already, the oil must be replaced with the appropriate synthetic oil.
This kit is compatible with Generac 22 kW, 27 kW, 36 kW, 45 kW, and 60 kW automatic standby generators. It ensures dependable and consistent power, even in extremely cold environments.
Please note that it is recommended that an Authorized Dealer install the Extreme Cold Weather Kit as improper installation procedures can inhibit proper generator function.
