This is the Evo / Evolution 1 controller and it does not have WiFi capability. If you try installing a Evo 2 / Evolution 2 controller in place of this 0J8371c it will not function. If you currently have a WiFi capable generator, this is NOT the proper control board and you want to look at the Generac 10000003275 Evolution 2.0 Control Panel.

This Generac generator controller is a direct replacement for older versions of the Generac Evolution controller, including the Generac 0J8371A, 0J8371ASRV, 0J8371AHSRV, 0J8371B, 0J8371BSRV, 0J8371BHSRV, and 0J9079A models. This is not the Wi-Fi-friendly version of the controller, and you must purchase the same version of the control board that was originally installed in your generator. You cannot add WiFi capabilities to this era genset.

These OEM replacement controllers do not include the Evolution decal. If you wish to have a decal that states "Evolution" you can use a heat gun to remove the old decal and install it on the new controller, or you can purchase a new decal located here: Generac 0K0926 Evolution Decal

If you experience a “2800 Auxiliary Shutdown" error after installing this control board, that means you have one or both (if equipped) AUX switches in the off position.
