This is the proper replacement kit for generators using the 0H6680A, or 0H6680B that have experienced a control board failure. The wiring harness on units with the A/B controllers will not allow you to use a 0h6680D. This kit includes the adapter harness that goes in between your existing harness and the new 0h6680D control board.
If you already have a 0H6680D control board, you do not need this adapter kit and you simply need to purchase a 0h6680d control board. You can purchase that control board here.

Generac stopped making my B board controller. LCD burned out on control board and had to buy this entire kit in order to use the D board. Total install ended up taking me an hour. Local dealer wanted $1100 for the kit and installation, I saved almost $500.
